Stocking Bathroom Essentials
Welcome back to the blog for The Mansions at Briggs Ranch! Last year we offered residents of our apartment community ideas for decorating apartment bathrooms. Today we’re sharing tips for stocking it to make sure it not only looks beautiful but functions exactly the way it’s supposed to. Head to your favorite grocery store here in San Antonio, TX to find just what you need!
Cleaning Products — You’ll need a variety of cleaning products to make sure your bathroom stays, looks, and feels spotless. Start with Windex or glass cleaning wipes, toilet bowl cleaner, disinfectant wipes, and some type of shower cleaner. Be careful of harmful ingredients in chemicals, and never mix cleaners together. Give yourself plenty of ventilation while cleaning. Store these products in a cool, dry area, to avoid rust.
First-Aid Items — The bathroom is a great place to keep a first-aid kit. If you’re low on space, a mini first-aid kit is a great place to start. Having basic emergency supplies on hand will be useful for many different situations, including when guests are over. To start your own first aid kit, consider band-aids, antibacterial ointment, tweezers, aloe vera, and an instant cold compress. These items can be found at a local drug or grocery store. If you forget to purchase items, try adding them to your grocery list. Each week as you grocery shop, pick up an item for your kit. It will slowly grow and you’ll have those items when needed.
Personal Grooming — If you’ve lived with others, some bathroom items may have been shared property. But when living on your own, you’ll want to make sure you have all the items you need. Make sure you have a hairbrush or comb, nail clippers, toothpaste and floss, body lotion, toilet paper, shampoo, body wash, and hand soap. It’s also great to have some smaller travel or samplers of these items on hand for when guests arrive, in case they have forgotten their own.
Having your bathroom stocked with all these essentials will ensure you’ll have whatever you need for taking care of yourself and your bathroom! Thanks for reading the blog!
